After some research, I decided to go for a plasma after learning the pros and cons of both plasma and LCD. Plasma seems more suited to my taste, especially after a side by side comparison of the two. If you have a LCD screen and then implement a plasma , you can see difference between the two.

Following that I look in detail, which reached the Pioneer 5020 (of course), Samsung 550 and 650, then the series Panny 800U and 85U series. After checking the AVS forum for the configuration of what works well on TV. In my opinion, the Pioneer is the best in the series, if the blacks are black and WCOM the same as the 800U Panny and Samsung 650 series. The Samsungs were significantly Pannys then black and only slightly lighter Pioneer can only say in a comparison side by side with the Pioneer (85U between blacks and 800U are the same). The color of the 85U is very good, manon as good as the 650 series from Samsung or Panny 800U once again evident only in the side by side tests and much, much lighter. But if it was not for the fact that he was on a limited budget of $ 2KI could think tenercompr? Pioneer, but since I am on a budget and wanted a PS3 with BlueRay my new plasma TV from Pioneer, Samsung and 650 Panny 800U series have been eliminated. Who left the Panny 85U and Samsung 550, the color was very close to both and I give a slight edge to Samsung, but the selling point for me was the black level. It makes the colors really pop and more than offset the slight deficit color. To be honest, after all the exhaustive research I have sabemosw was really worth the extra money for the combination of higher prices, the same reason you can not go wrong with any of the above, is fixed.

I have owned this TV for about a month and can not be more happy, friends and family are surprised by this television, and even their own LCD and plasma larger, when I tell them the price that I chose to fall and are seeking the number statiper model. I had movie nights and sports events every weekend, because love watching this thing so much.

Let me mention some other ideas and suggestions when trying to buy this TV.
To begin this series is stato when I shot for the first time I was a little not sure about the picture qualitythat it is not good as I thought it should be, but I read that is will be better after the break in 100 hours. Thus, after 50 hours this thing really started to come to life and once reached more than 100 hours, it can handle the image and brightness which I knew I had chosen the right TV.

Secondly, I like the SD card into the slot by Panasonics over the USB port on the majorior of other brands of TV, because most digital cameras and phones use SD cards so that a feature when I have friends and relatives and only see the pop the SD card right into my camera or another, and display images. It’s amazing how watching your digital photos on this great TV. Only an additional feature that thinking.

Thirdly, I have not seen the so-called shadow in the green-acting rapida, see a lot of sport in this series, and someone mentioned something earlier, in the sense of “a single green pixel shader” if he can see a pixel is 5 feet must be an eagle, I at a distance of 10 feet, with no evidence of this green, even on one foot away Watcher to find any green tinge in vain.

Fourth, to reduce noise. Panasonic TH-46PZ85U image is as good as the source, the end. Yes, the definition of the channels are somewhat ‘grainy, rumober, call what you want, but this happens in any High Def LCD or plasma, which is part of owning a high quality TV that every po ‘ditalle. Do not use the option to reduce noise and has a clearer picture of the channels of standard definition and that my LCD is the same as that between the TV during the long confrontation, using the same source. You are not buying a 1080p plasma or LCD to watch SD anyway.

Finally, the glare, the reduction is stata dazzle the Pioneer, which I mounted in an angle of 6 meters high with a slope down and have a few thoughts Cheh, I recommend that you do not have a window or light directly on your viewing angle. Not as good as a mate on an LCD screen, and then, again, but many of the LCD I looked at was a brilliant display, defeating a majrazones buy or LCD. Take a flash light and shine on the screen to shop veing as good anti-glare really works, if it is a source of concern or to be aware of where you acolocar TV.

I hope that this review was useful, so I spent some time reviewing TV and I was a difficult task to decide on this issue with the price of being the first time, a very expensive electronic call over the Internet.

Get the best of your viewing experience with the 46-inch TC-P

For less than $1k, this Panasonic VIERA S1 Series TC-P46S1 would worth 5 stars. I have also owned Sony KDS55A2000 rear projection TV. I think the colors are slightly better in the Sony, but the blacks, shadow detail, contrast is better on Panasonic. Panasonic is also less than half of what it cost from Sony three years ago. And much easier to move, because it is a flat screen and not as heavy (or energy consumption) as the previous plasmas.

Very occasionally, I do note that the colors are various green, but not enough to worry about. I suspect that this can be corrected with calibration. The audio is adequate for a TV (comparable to Sony). If you want high-quality sound, then you must use a receiver and external speakers. Trade are strong, and I hope there was an adjustment to compensate for this. S1 Series does not provide many options for picture adjustments in the user menu – not as many Sony – but not importan for most users.

In general, the picture quality is excellent. SD is also decent. DVD Upconverter well. Television is a great value. After examining the X1 720p, you can see a remarkable difference in brightness and PQ in the store. My wife and I have agreed that the S1 was much better and is worth extra $. Of course, plasmas do not look good come in the shops – in bright fluorescent lights, with bright LCD – but believe me, look better at home that almost use all the liquid crystal display.

The G10 seems to offer the THX and the THX certification, and some online functionality. THX is too dark without calibration. For proper 24fps playback (without flash), it is necessary to intensify the V10, which is considerably more expensive. All have the same panel, and most people will be very felicit?z con the S1. Of course, the V10 is better but if money is an issue, go with the S1. You will not find a better price for television.

I had the television for a few weeks to evaluate and can say that overall I am very happy. Normally in a purchase like this tend to have some kind of buyer remorse, but so far I have not.

Panasonic VIERA G10 TC-P46G10 Testimonials

The picture is excellent, but as others have said, a little dark. I’m using a custom configuration of the game to regulate the brightness of the display. THX and the Blu-Ray is great in dark room. I’m still trying with the settings of the images, while the experts seem to think that it is not enough to ‘perfect’ image quality I think that seems more than enough to set the TV to your preference.

The sound is very good considering that low compared to the speakers. I heard the other TVs with the sound settings that frankly terrible, the Panasonic is much better. Regularly to watch TVvisione, sports, etc. If you do not want to go around to the sound surround system, it will be very happy with the sound quality. My wife, who hate turning on TV, is very happy that you can use a single remote control.

One complaint I have is that some of the labels is not very intuitive. For example, if you want the full size 1920×1080 has to select 2 for non Overscan. Why not say 1920×1080 or 100%? There should be clear explanation of the various options. Another complaint is that optical audio output only sends a signal of 5.1 for the creation of television (by air or cable configurations) in all other dispositivosenv?a a stereo digital signal. I was hoping to eliminate some of the optical cables, but unfortunately that does not happen. Panasonic has confirmed that this is the case and there are no plans to change.

The VieraCast is very interesting, but a little slow. I have my TV connected through an Ethernet bridge and divertiti playing YouTube videos on the screen. Amazon on demand is also available, but have not used that function. It is said that there will be netflix on demand which will be a great option.

Even with the complaints that I have this great television. The picture is excellent, the sound is very good and the price is right. I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a new HDTV.
