The Sony KDL-46Z5100 is one of the latest Sony Bravia LCD HDTV, with a lot of characteristics of media and a PlayStation 3-like menu system. Television has done well in most of our tests, but has decreased in some areas. The area was the worst performance in range is in grayscale. The gray and leaving too quickly, leading to a loss of detail in dark areas. The colors peak slightly before it is due, even if this is a small error. The contrast was incredible.
TV handles very well the flow of traffic movement, when it is turned on, even if you should turn off when viewing 24fps content. The speakers were well above average. The TV has a viewing angle and uniformity to the surface the problems that occur outside the dead-center, but these were relatively minor. Even though the average auxiliary features are very basic, its inclusion is still welcome.
While television is expensive, it is a good choice of class of 46 inches.
If you are not interested in extra features and want a larger size, the Sony Bravia KDL-52V5100 is a good option. If you want better performance of color then choose Vizio SV470XVT. The Samsung LN40B650 done is also as good as KDL-52V5100, but is much less expensive at about $1,300.
