HDTV is an amazing visual experience. Because of the digital conversion of the 2009, many people are buying HDTV for the first time. Here are some basic tips for the purchase of any HDTV of that will help you avoid the purchase of big mistakes and save money using this as a rough guide. These are just my opinions, you can do what you want.

2009 HDTV Buying Tips:

1. Not all digital television are HD TV. Make sure you are buying an HDTV set.

2 .The size of the display of large screen HDTV set is smaller than screen of a television. That is a 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen display pictures in high definition television, while regular television broadcasts are in 4:3 aspect ratio for non-HDTV broadcasts. As such, the display area for an 26 “wide screen high-definition is much smaller than a 26″ regular TV, so if you want the equivalent of viewing, you need to buy something like a 32 “Wide screen high-definition. The bottom line is, if you buy a big screen HDTV, remember to get the equivalent of their regular viewing area of television, the HDTV should be a larger size.

2. Do not buy an HDTV is not that big screen. All high-definition broadcasts in 16:9 widescreen format, which means that something is not correctly in a non-big screen HDTV.

3. Try to buy an HDTV with a resolution in 1080 instead of 720. 1080 offers a better image.

4. Those using or planning to use the cable or satellite TV, you can save money by buying an HD Readyset instead of an HD set with a built-in HD tuner. This simply means that in your HD-ready TV, you will receive HDTV broadcasts direct from the receiver of the service via cable and satellite.

5. You really need HD service from your cable company or satellite, to actually see HDTV. The price is relatively low. If you do not pay for this service, then your picture is not HDTV.

6. If you get a DVR or HDD to make sure it is an HD or HD DVR HDD or not see what you recorded in HD. You need an HDTV to view HD playback of an HD or HD DVR Tivo.

7. I recommend you to buy an extended warranty just for the security of knowing that if something went wrong with his series of HDTV, at least have the security of knowing that you will be able to fix or repair immediately. For me, the cost of what I did, it was worth the security of knowing that I have my HDTV in the coming years.

8. If you go to a store or chain of stores, many of the images that are displayed on the TV screen are not true HDTV broadcasts. I would call the store in advance or go to a store that specializes in high-definition television that you know that you are about to see HDTV broadcasts.

9. In general, you can improves your experience by a seller of a shop specializing in HDTV then a chain store. This does not mean that there is no knowledge of the chain-store sales, but it is likely that it is rather those who make this a career. I would always ask a seller who has been with the store longer.

10. If you have a home theater system, the sound of a high-definition television set built in speaker is not important. You will receive the sound through your home theater system for TV or cable service provider.

11. If you have money, I personally recommend spending $ 50 or more dollars to buy the component cables on the quality rather than using the component cables supplied by companies television cable or satellite to connect the TV to high definition, likely to get a better image.
